A specialist language model for KiCad schematic work

I fine-tuned a Google Gemma model for KiCad schematic tasks. The released model weights and model card are intended for people exploring AI assistance with electronic design. Read the model card for the supported tasks, evaluation limits and non-commercial licence terms before using it.

My contribution: Fine-tuned and packaged the specialist model for local GGUF use, and documented its schematic-generation workflow.

Technical details

The release packages fine-tuned Gemma weights in GGUF format for local experimentation with KiCad tasks.

Documented tasks include .kicad_sch content, KiCad Python scripting, component selection and explanations of PCB design decisions.

The fine-tuned weights use the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence. The model card records supported tasks and evaluation limits.
